3月25日上午，英国牛津大学教授、博士生导师何静于长清湖校区文淙楼1-506会议室做了题为“GPT-AI based Target Discovery and Drug Design: Recent Advances and Future Perspectives”的学术报告。本次报告由副校长、学院院长郑元杰主持，学院部分教师及硕博士研究生参加了此次报告，并参与讨论。
报告伊始，何静以GPT-AI助力创新药研发为主题，展示了自己从基础人工智能研究到利用人工智能解决实际的问题的研究进展。紧接着，何静介绍了GPT-AI结合自动问答系统、重症监护实时预警系统等重要应用，围绕解决“千禧难题”和“Smale’s Problems”，进一步阐释了多项式时间图同构算法和强多项式时间线性规划算法。同时，何静通过具体而生动地案例，讲解了团队提出的置换定理和等势定理，这些理论有效地度量了图同构的程度，并已被应用于药物初筛、药物设计领域等领域。在最后的交流环节，刘丽教授与何静教授进行了深入地交流，激发了现场的学术氛围，并极大地启发和影响了在场同学的学习和科研热情。

Dr Jing He is a professor at the Department of Neuroscience, University of Oxford, UK. She was awarded a PhD from the Academy of Mathematics and System Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2006. Before joining the Swinburne University of Technology in 2018, She was a professor at Victoria University ,Melbourne ,Australia ,from 2008 to 2018.She used to work at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, from 2006-2008.She has been active in algorithms and Chips, Robotics Programming, Virtual Reality, Big Data Analytics, Sensor Networks, Web Services, and some industry fields such as E-Health, Petroleum Exploration and Development and water resource management. She has published more than 200 research papers in refereed international journals and conference proceedings, including AAAI, JCDE, IGCAI, SIGIR, Information Systems, Information Sciences, ACM transaction on Internet Technology (TOIT), IEEE Transaction on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE), IEEE Transaction on Image Processing, Plos One, The Computer Journal, Computers and Mathematics with Applications, Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience (CCPE). She is a senior member of the IEEE, and H-index is 26.
